St. Marien church

This is a simple looking church which is reflective of its Dominican influence. The reinforced western wall harkens to the never completed first tower of the church. The west side though, was never intended to be a show piece because a monastery, which is now all but gone, was located directly across the courtyard.

The massive five story triangular tower is marked by cornices and has double arch windows located at the top with small windows on the lower portion.
